The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is the premiere consumer event in the nation for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The show will feature exhibitors, live cooking demonstrations by Houston’s hottest chefs, tasting and entertaining workshops, and presentations from Food Network celebrities. This is a one-of-a kind event for anyone who loves to cook or entertain!
Our third annual Houston show will be held on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15 at the Reliant Center in Houston, TX.

The 1-day pass includes first come, first served seating to the Celebrity Theater presentations for the date of purchase only (Saturday OR Sunday) plus general admission, which grants access to the marketplace area featuring all-day 30-minute tasting and entertaining workshops and exhibitors selling and sampling specialty food and entertaining products. Please view the schedules page for Celebrity Theater presentation schedules.
We offer discounted general admission tickets for children ages 4-12. Children under the age of 4 are free with a paying adult. We do not have discounted Celebrity Theater or Special Event ticket prices. However, children under the age may sit on the lap of a paying adult in the Celebrity Theater.
We do not offer discounts for seniors or military.

There is a full day’s worth of fun at The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show. We recommend at least a few hours to enjoy the demos, tastings and exhibits. Exhibit hours on Saturday are 10:00 am–6:00 pm. Exhibit hours on Sunday are 10:00 am–5:00 pm.
Yes! There will be someone giving hand stamps at the exit so you can come and go as you please. We also advise you to hold onto your ticket through the remainder of show.
There are several dining options provided by the Reliant Center available in the exhibit hall.
Houston has many amazing restaurants. We encourage you to check out the restaurants of those chefs who are participating at our show. Under the personalities page, you will find a list of participating chefs. We suggest making reservations in advance.
We block off several rooms within walking distance of the Reliant Center for our attendees. To get an exclusive Metro Cooking discount, book through our website on the “show details” page on the navigation bar above.
Please check with the Reliant Center regarding bus parking.
Photography and video are permitted on the exhibit floor. Flash photography and video are not permitted in the Celebrity Theater.
